*RETAIL - Penstemon digitalis 'Husker Red'

Handsome herbaceous perennial with new growth emerging a deep maroon/red before maturing to deep green. White, tubular flowers are abundant on erect stems in spring and summer. Attractive to hummingbirds. Grows to 2-3 ft tall, and prefers full sun in well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. USDA zones 3-8.
