*RETAIL - Lindera fragrans

Lovely, evergreen shrub or small tree from southeastern China with narrow, deep green leaves that have a spicy fragrance when crushed. To 15 ft tall x 6 ft wide. Tolerates full sun, but does best in open shade or woodland, in moist, well-draining soil. Hardy to USDA zone 8, perhaps 7 in a sheltered location.
