A tall-growing crape myrtle, a Chinese species, to around 15-20' with pale pink flowers in summer and large green leaves that change to a striking yellow, sometimes orange hue in fall. Leaves are broader and somewhat fuzzier than a lot of other crape myrtles, giving the tree a handsome glow, full appearance due to its multi-branching growth. Prune lightly in winter to shape. Frost hardy to USDA zone 8.
