*RETAIL - Fargesia robusta 'Wolong'

Super rare choice clumper. Should be called “Elephantine Zebra Plant” due to large mat green foliage. Early shooter; white sheaths bristling in rusty red hairs which trap spring rain drops; shiny green culm revealed contrasts with sheaths (hence zebra).  Makes fine specimen to 8-12ft in reasonable light. Hates PM heat. Cold hardy to around -5°F.
