One of two Oregon natives, this found from Northern California to the central Oregon Coast in seedblock colonies of gorgeous silver-blue rosettes as large as 5-6" tall and clumping. Yellowish, sometimes, rose-tinted flowers appear in late spring and early summer. Lovers of winter wet and summer drought. Frost hardy in USDA zone 9; 8b if protected. Otherwise a wonderful container plant.
